2. Brightness and visual angle
The brightness of indoor LED display need be more than 800 cd/m2, outdoors need be more than 1500 CD/m2, if you want to use LED display outdoor under the sun shine directly, the brightness must be more than 5000 CD/m²that guarantee the screen to work well ( certainly the higher the brightness, the higher power consumption) otherwise, it can’t see the image shown because of low brightness. 3. White balance
White balance effect of LED display is one of the most important indication. Studied the color red, green, blue on the proportion of three primary colors with 3:6:1 (exactly 3.0 : 5.9 : 1.1) will show the pure white, if the actual ratio is a little deviation will appear white balance, generally we should pay attention to whether it is white biased blue, partial yellow-green phenomenon. the control system will also decide the white balance good or not.
4. Color reducibility
Color reducibility means the ability that LED display show the real color, also the color of LED screen shows must be same with the source and keep highly consistent, so that we can guarantee the image sense of reality. Usually the driving IC, controller system and the grey level affect the color reducibility.
5. Mosaic, wrong spots question
Mosaic means the LED display with some small square which always show bright or black. it is module necrosis phenomenon, the main reason for the LED display is the connectors with low quality. Wrong spots mean that LED screen appeared on which always bright or black single point, how many of the wrong spots decide by the quality of the screen .
6. Color piece
Color piece means there is obvious difference between the adjacent modules , the color of the transition to modules for the unit, and color piece caused by poor quality control system, low gray level , low scan frequency, usually if the scan mode is very low and the controller control much pixels, the color will be different gradually.
7. Refresh frequency means times of picture that is repeated by LED screen, In theory, the higher frequency, the better results image show, in general civil or commercial level of the LED display series products for indoor the LED display, the refresh rate should be more than 180 HZ refresh frequency, outdoor LED display more than 300 HZ , if you want to use live camera to shoot picture and video, the refresh rate should be at least more than 600 Hz.
8. gray level
Gray level means that the technology processing series from the dark to display to the most bright , the higher the gray level , the richer the color, also it is more gorgeous; the picture is more exquisite, more performance rich details. At present , LED display mainly uses the eight processing system, namely 256 (28) level gray. also can say there is 256 brightness changes from black to white . The RGB color can constitute a 256 x 256 x 256 = 16777216 colors. What say normally named 16 million color. Some LED display mainly uses the 10 processing system, namely 1024 level gray, RGB color can form 1.07 billion color.
Gray level is the number of color deciding factor , but is not unlimited said the bigger the better. Because the resolution of the first human eye is limited, and furthermore system treatment figures will improve involves system video processing, storage and transmission, scanning and so on each link changes, cost increase, price drop instead. In general civil or commercial level product can use eight system, broadcasting level product can use 10 system.
9. pixel number
If you want high quality image, you need enough pixel to display image.
It might be cheaper to buy a large electronic LED display screen from your provider, but it is always important to know how many pixels the screen has in total, to see if it has more than 45000 you need to multiply the total number of pixel in width by the total number of pixels in height. If you get over 40,000 pixels, the LED display will be capable of display videos, photos and animations without loosing quality. For an electronic LED display that will transmit video is important to verify that it has a minimum of 40,000 pixels for not getting blurry videos or color distortion.
Certainly if you want to buy a LED display just for showing text, simple picture and video , or for vision effect, you can use a LED display with less pixel number.
